Through The Storm is thrilling from the first page, Tessa thinks her husband is involved in something that isn't legal but she has to prove it. Having taken in her nephew since her sister and brother in law died has been a big change in both of their lives. Tessa didn't realise the signs of her husband's secret conversations and deals until she overheard him on the phone, which makes her question how much she really knows him.
Mac is so focused on making his business a success that when his nephew needed a stable home, he said that he would be better suited with Tessa due to his situation. Now, several months later his business is struggling to survive the competition yet he remains positive even though it doesn't seem like it will be.
When Tessa takes off with her nephew to the Serengeti, so that she can figure out what is happening with her husband and come up with a plan. Although things don't go to plan as she starts to feel things for Mac, things a married woman shouldn't feel. Tessa is about to learn that sometimes a storm is so much more than just that, it is about the reasons and truth that the storm brings out.
My favourite character is Tessa, she is a strong character who has been through a lot with losing her sister and taking on her nephew. Her love and passion pushes her to be the best and to figure out the truth, so that her future will be a lot brighter than her present.
Through The Storm is a heartwarming story about family, secrets and how to battle your way through the storm. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves romance that warms your heart and makes you see the good side of the storm.
Hopeful, Memorable and Sweet.

Does following her passion mean losing her way?
Marine Ben Corallis is an expert at facing death, but nothing comes close to the terror that grounds him when his wife is killed in a car accident the day he returns from duty. He's left to raise an infant, a toddler and a ten-year-old girl who hasn't uttered a word since her mother's death.
It's hard not to care for the widowed marine with three young children. Yet he's still grieving, too burdened with guilt to fall in love again. And Hope Alwanga's future as a doctor awaits her on the other side of the world, in Nairobi. If two such opposites can't agree on a common country, how can they ever create a safe place to call home?
